You are only allowed 140 characters to tweet your thoughts, ideas and whatnots, but some celebrities still manage to make a muck of this. Not only do they say the wrong things, but are sometimes grammatically incorrect. This may have something to do with text vocabulary being hard to understand and all, right? Whichever is the case, there is something truly unforgettable about celebrity twitter faux pas. Who made the list?
Mary J. Blige
@maryjblige: “Why is it that people always try to understand estimate my intelligents? They should never do that!”
This is probably a case of not proofreading a tweet before hitting the tweet button. But 140 characters are usually too short to make grammar mistakes, which is probably why Mary J. Blige, and other tweeters out there, doesn’t make an effort to re-read and edit what they wrote. The result? A really incoherent tweet.
@OfficialJaden: “How Can Mirrors Be Real If Our Eyes Aren’t Real”
You have to admit Jaden’s tweet got you thinking, and even creasing your forehead as you try to make sense out of it. Did anyone bother to ask him what he meant? Because maybe he can enlighten the world about such a mind-boggling (literally) thought.
@niallofficial: “just had our anal performance!”
Blame it on auto-correct. In Niall Horan’s mind, he probably did think of writing the word final, except that anal would come out first, based on alphabetical order, before final. Still, it made imaginations run wild.
@kanyewest: “JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P***Y IN YOUR LIFE… “
This screaming tweet is a perfect example of how Kanye West will react to haters. But wait, isn’t this just about a Jimmy Kimmel sketch? Imagine how he’d react when something more serious is thrown his way. Makes you wonder if he’s also deleted tweets aimed at SNL.
