With the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards, the internet is flooded with reports on the best and worst dressed of the night. A majority of the population, however, wants to know more about the worst dressed. Celebrities can’t be all that perfect, right? They have almost everything an ordinary individual could want, so a few miss on the red carpet will make them human.
Amal Clooney in Dior
There was really nothing wrong with the black Dior gown that Amal Clooney wore, if not for the white gloves she paired it with that made a striking contrast. Or make that a stark contrast from her somber, all-black ensemble. It just looked really out of place. Didn’t anyone tell her it’s not always black and white?
Lana Del Rey in Travilla
This can be relegated to a case of mistaking a prestigious movie awards for a prom night. The turquoise-colored vintage Travilla dress that Lana Del Rey wore could have looked better on someone else, but definitely not on her. Her entire outfit was definitely a miss.
Jemima Kirke in Rosie Assoulin
The cape dress that Jemima Kirke wore made her a head-turner but for all the wrong reasons. Even if she attended a costume party, the outfit still won’t do anything great for her. For the Golden Globes, Jemima Kirke would go down in history as one of the worst-dressed.
Tina Fey in Antonio Berardi
Tina Fey has often made it to the list of the best dressed, but she made an exception for the 2015 Golden Globe Awards, which was definitely a wrong move. The outfit could have been better used as a cake topper.
Claire Danes in Valentino
The dress may have been a stunning showpiece in the runway, but it was obviously the wrong choice for Claire Danes. It looked very unflattering, particularly in the chest area, which was something that overshadowed even the most intricate detailing and embellishment.
