The first Hasselblad camera used in space auction ends

The Hasselblad 500c camera is very special: it was the first to be used by NASA for space missions. In its list are the missions Mercury-Atlas 8 and Mercury – Atlas 9. After living an adventurous”life”, this authentic memorabilia auction will end tomorrow, November 13, 2013, in Boston, becoming a valuable piece for collectors. The sale will also include the Carl Zeiss Planar 1: 2.8 f = 80mm.



According to some estimates, the value of 500c should reach the 50,000-100,000 dollars, making it one of the most valuable space memorabilia of all time, among those auctioned.
