What to Do in Prague without Spending Too Much?

There are many reasons to travel to Prague, one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe. For one, it’s cheap, which means that you can get more bang for your money than other top tourist spots in the world. This also means that there are lots of things to see and do without having to spend a lot.

You won’t mind spending hours at this place since there are lots of beautiful buildings to feast your eyes on. If you’re lucky, you can also watch entertainers performing at the square.

Take a stroll along Charles Bridge.

This is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Prague. You’ll love it here because it’s a pedestrian only area, which means that you can have a leisurely walk while appreciating all the 30 statues that decorate the bridge. This is also where you’ll have a great view of the Vlatava River, the longest river in the Czech Republic.

Check out the oldest astronomical clock.


This is another popular attraction in this part of Czech. It was first installed in the 1400s, making it the oldest astronomical clock that’s still working. Every hour, many people gather in front to witness the Walk of the Apostles, figures of the apostles peep out of the clock’s windows.

Visit the Infant of Prague.

This is found in the Church of Our Lady Victorious in the Mala Strana area. If you’re a devout Catholic, this is a sight you need to see.

Wander around the Prague Castle grounds.


Visitors can get in here for free, but if you wish to get inside the historical buildings, you’ll be asked to pay a cheap fee. The Prague Castle is also where you will witness the Changing of the Guards.
